FREE with the upgrade from MB4 32c to MB5 32c. sure enough my guitar showed up just like it was supposed too. Now just to be doubly sure I exported my little experimental Mixbus 4 experiment. the metronome didn't play until the songs timeline hit bar one. i armed the track, armed the metronome and hit record. I added an audio track to be able to record my Tele. In this Pic I took a song I had prerecorded already ,then I moved the timeline to where I wanted my first bar of music to count as my songs start.

Now with what Harrison has done here I can actually play music that correctly corresponds to the correct measures and bar lines of music as I have know it all my life. what that means is a 24 bar or a 36 cycle of a tune winds up having some real weird math. I don't know about you but it has always rubbed me the wrong way when I'm playing or recording a song that has a pick up measure and then I have to compensate for the fact that " my DAW " doesn't allow me to place my first bar of music where I want it in the timeline I have to start my tune on bar two or bar three. Now what does that mean ? I'm a trained musician.

I said it here first ,so don't get any ideas that you beat me to the punch and came up with this Idea of how to use this feature in a way that nobody other than myself has noticed To my knowledge Harrison Mixbus 4 is the only DAW that I own ,use and know of that has effectively made it possible for me to record in the minus section of a song in the songs timeline In addition to that feature I can now set my bar number one anyplace I want to set it in my songs timeline. Too tell you the truth I was very happy Harrison implemented this feature in Mixbus 4 Now grab your seat and put on your seat-belt folks because I'm gonna state the most obvious and revolutionary thing I love about this new feature. I watched that video last month when it first came out.
